The old M series that the current models replace have been around a long time and are just about bullet proof and dead simple to work on. The M6800-9000's are very popular here as the do everything tractor on an operation. The cab models are nice as the shifter is off to the side and most have a hydraulic shuttle. I have read of one fellow using his for commercial logging and he popped a shaft in the front diff climbing a pile of logs. He was talking about pulling logs with both diff locks engaged to get them up hills and still spinning it so not many tractors would hold up in that kind of use. Was an interesting looking rig with full fops welded onto the machine.
