A truck with a trailer falls into the gross combined weight rating,so the truck and the trailer will then have a GCWR of 52,000#. But, and this is where a lot of folks make mistakes, you also need to know the actual weight of the empty truck, as well as the actual weight of the empty trailer. Add these two weights together, and then subtract from the 52,000. Then and only then will know how much weight you can haul on the trailer. My guess is that the truck and trailer will be overloaded with the 30,000# dozer.
