Well today I took the boys to our county fair ( Benton County Minnesota) and what a dissapointment. There was one small display of ag equipment, one small area of about 10 restored tractors ( that was nice), and the animal barns, and that was about it for enjoyable attending. It was packed with sooo many rude vendors it was more like a flea market in places. The "Midway" of rides and games for kids is just a place for gang bangers and disrespectful young people to hang out and act cool. My boys are 9 and 6 and we could not even get the rides they wanted cause I relocated them away from the foul mouthed, smart a#s punks. I told a few to please watch their mouths around these younger folks and all I got was a big F U. Little SOB's what can ya do you clock em one and you go to jail cause they are teens. Whatever happened to the fair being a place for young and old alike to enjoy and visit and see all the wonderfull things. These yopung gals dress like tramps and their "men" show them off like dogs. The beer gardens are now just a place to get hammered and fight. The food vendors prices are crazy. The best place to eat is the 4H lunch stand. I really think Benton county needs to relocate that fairgrounds out of the St. Cloud area and get her right smack in the middle of benton county so it once again can be a "county FAIR" These punks are a result of 3 things- 1. Lazy Parents 2. a society that complains about teens attitudes yet wont let ya give them what they need. 3. Lack of God in their lives
