Thanks for the encouragement people. It was pretty bad this morning but not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Our tiled ground got hit the hardest and had a lot of standing water but a few small ditches dug out of the field to the bigger ditches took care of a lot of it fast. Our low ground without tile was not as bad because it must not have got as much rain. It rained 5 inches at the farm where I live and maybe only 3 inches 2 miles down the road at the other farm I was worried about. I was just in an overall bad mood last night when I posted that. Not a lot of sleep, bad night at work and came home to no electricity, no shower, and flooded fields with rain coming down in buckets, and to top it off the roof was leaking from the sideways driven rain went into an attic window and got a lot of important papers wet on my kitchen table. What a difference a day can make. Not whining, just venting. As far as making it in farming, dad has been at it for 50 years and I have been for about 25 so I guess we have technically "made" it! We are in the middle of michigan just north of St Johns. Gratiot county. I try to never lose track of my blessings though because I saw the mess they have had in New York and Pennsylvania and am glad I was not in their shoes. Later people.

At one time I had seven restored examples which were shown and used in ploughing matches. As most restorers, I have a number of war stories I can relate on a range of topics that may help other like minded and interested people. Perhaps my first p
