Before everyone gets their undies in a bunch, I an not saying this to pick on anyone in particular. I see several tractors advertised as being 'Rare'. We have, and have had, several old tractors over the years. I don't know the specs on every tractor made but I would like to know what makes YOUR tractor RARE? It bugs me when I see this with know follow-up. Is it serial no. 1? Is it 1 of 2 in a certian configuration? Is it a gimmic to get someone to buy YOUR tractor? Second is 'One owner tractor'. Now I only went to two years of Ag college but if it came from the guy up the road and you own it now, doesn't that make it a 'two owner tractor'? I don't mind if someone buys something to re-sell and make a dollar, we have done it on occasion too. As long as everybody in the chain is happy and no one got taken I am fine with that. It just bugs me when sellers are deceptive. I'll save axles on JD's painted yellow for another day.
