Does the word Peru appear on the wheel hub?? I found the leftovers of an old horse drawn wagon in a thicket on the back side of some land that we bought. All that was left of the wagon were the wheels, a small amount of oak wood and some hardware. The wheels had the number k406A and H708 and the word Peru on them. Do your wheels have these numbers or any other numbers???Was told that if the wagon was of built of oak, then it came from the North and if it was of Hickory wood, then it was from the South. Was also told that it might me a David Bradley. Does you axle have a metal rod running from the hubcap thru and down below the axle only to reenter the hub on the other side?? I don't know if this helps any at all, but am still researching my Treasured pile of scrap iron. Good Luck......
