Got the old h fired up after total engine overhaul last night. Adjusted carb, set points, and double checked the fluids, turned on the gas. I hit the started and it fired but quit.Hit the starter again it fired coughed smoothed out and purred like a kitten. Checked oil pressure, 25 pounds at idle and sixty if you take it up to full throttle.Didnt run it very long so this morning Im going to double check everything again get it started and retorque my head bolts and set the valves again. I posted on this last night and received only one reply I was so excited and felt let down after that so I went on to bed. But I was still very pleased with how good the old H sounded slept better last night than I have since I started this project. My wife even got excited and ran to the garage when she heard it fire up. I think she ready for a cub or possibly an A. Hope everybody else has as good a day as I Have had so far River Bottom Farmer
