Here's one for the Continental 4 Cyl. pros. I have an F163 engine in a 1970 model Ditch Witch. I had the "experts" at the D/W dealer tune it up for me & ever since it hasn't been right to the point that I gave up on them! The present situation: -Carb (Zenith)rebuilt 3 times & adjusted to spec. -fuel & filters are clean -plugs new & gapped properly -timing is set according to manual -distributor cap, rotor, points & wires all new Engine will start, usually with starting fluid & will idle OK although it stumbles every 20 seconds or so. When I try to throttle up the engine stumbles even more, backfires once or twice & then often kills. Not sure what I'm missing here but obviously it's something good. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
