I know this is off topic but thought you could agree. Im young but old fashioned and demand the best customer service from any company that I deal with or I dont deal with them again. Wells Fargo has the worst of any bank if you ask me. I waited till all my debits and checks cleared then transferred all my money out to take me to a zero balance, so I could leave them. When I opened the account two years ago I signed on for an add on package for free checks and so on for 5 bucks a month. I called and cancelled it a month ago, they charged me yesterday on my zero balance, then charged me 4 bucks for calling them the previous month to cancel it, then they charged me 30 bucks overdraft to my credit card, then the credit card charged me 10 bucks for that, then the runaround began. The phone customer service said they cant cancel the add on so i needed to visit a branch and then he said no you gotta do it on the phone then the phone says yeah we can cancel that but we cant refund your money you gotta go to a branch etc. Needless to say after politely telling the local guy that he had til five to fix their mess up or i was going to the higher ups. He finally took care of it and I won. It seems like these companies get so big they make the run around so ridiculous that most people just give up and they win. Not me. No sir. Anyway the days of good quality customer service are history in most places. Sorry I just had to vent because I see this everywhere, not just at the banks. What do yall think????
