Haw do you get them to not grow to tall and spindley that they fall over? Set cabbage and marigolds 2 weeks ago and are in unheated room of house with full glass east wall, Need to get tomatoes started in next couple of days, Am using the no. 7 peat pellets and last year they worked good. I want to build a small greenhouse 14' X 20' this spring and going to use old aluminum storm windows that I have for the walls and 1/4" plate glass that I have had for years for south half of roof. No out of pocket for anything now except some shingles for rest of roof with lumber that I have had for several years. Possible if geting below freezing at anytime just setting in a portable kerosine heater that we bought several year ago when our propane supplier decided they were not going to fill us up and they are now in class action lawsuits in at least 3 states and out of business.
