Here's my place from google earth. I added the red lines for my property boundaries. I have 42 acres. You can see my house in the top right corner. Hard to get a feel from a satellite picture but the canyon dropping off the north side of the property is about 200 feet deep to the bottom. Also the picture looks a little off color to me. Here's a picture off my back porch looking north toward the canyon.
