I usually receive a discount card in the mail from TSC about once a month for 10% off or a $50 dollar discount for items over $500 dollars. It usually has a discount on lawn sprayers or nuts and bolts too. Last year I bought one of their 6 1/2 foot disks and got 10% off the $675 dollar price by using the card. $67 bucks was more than enough to pay for my gas. The disk is very nice and did a nice job on the garden and food plots I was planting. I also bought a lot of five gallon jugs of hydraulic oil and shell rotella T oil for our big tractors. Not to mention a lot of bags of fertilizer, nuts and bolts, and welding supplies and stuff to do painting. I bought lots of their implement enamel and hardner (very good quality) and a HVLP ingersol rand spray gun that works very nice. Not to mention a ton of stuff I bought for my 9n ford and my neighbors 8n that I did some work on. I bought several chains and links and steel strap, oil filters, trailer tires, grinding wheels, pipe fittings, bungee straps, tarps. Lots of stuff and I was glad it was there when I needed it. They don't have everything but lots of stuff I need. If I need serious parts I go to the dealer or central tractor salvage and I pay a lot for it. Most American companies operate on less than a 10% profit margin (profit). Japanese companies consider 1% acceptable as long as they are making quality and delivery and growing the business. A lot of times if you go to a store and an item is on sale for a cheap price it is being sold at cost to get you in the store to buy another item that may be more profitable for the store. I guess if you use the coupons you can do pretty good if you want to. Just don't use the Visa card because then another 10-15% will be tacked on the purchase with the interest you could end up paying. Later People
