Theorically(sp?) yes, but you will need to maintain the double u-joint coupling to take care of any engine, pump alignment issues. Also the flywheel on the original engine had fins on it (about 6" long) to take the place of a radiator cooling fan. No, the coupling bolts to the flywheel with different bolts other than the flywheel bolts.
