Have you stopped to consider how much extra weight you would be pulling if you got the tube trailer? I was in the market a few years ago and tested several different trailers (tube and angle). The best trailer I found was an angle iron one with a channel iron tounge. The tube and angle iron trailers were much too flimsy but also were too heavy for their intended application (tube) (farming and construction). I picked my trailer up new for $795.00 (8000 coupler, brakes on one axle)and I feel that is one of the best investments I have ever made. I have had people offer me $900.00 for it but I decline because I don't want to do anyone wrong. Hope this helps.
