those of you going straight to the insurance companies are acting as your own agent. You may or may not be getting the best deal. but I will gauntee not one of you checked you insrunce agents referances before using them. My agent came highly recomended here in colo and calls me every three months to see how she can be helpfull and to review my poloicies. In the last two years she has called me on three differnt occasions to say i will be seeing a reduction in payment because she found something new or a better way to do it. I was already carring farmers so when i switched to her she didnt get a check for one year. That how farmers works but she still worked her but off for me. she added 200,000 life insurance for me and the premiun was less than the discount applied to my total. I guess it makes a differance when you are insuring 7 to 8 vehicles and yes two of them are my daughter and son in law because thay cant afford it like a lot of you. I believe that most agents today wheather it be insuance, realter whatever most dont do the job they used to. What is up with a realtor calling me and saying go look at this address. I say every service you employ shoud have their refeences checked. winner
