Go visit with your local JD dealership and price what a clutch job will be. This tractor will have to be split to fix. i will bet that they will want +or- $1500 to do this. so I would say that in the neighbor hood of $3000 or so it tops. The tractor will need about $1000 in rear tires. That is a current price of putting a set of 18.4x38s on a cousins 4230 a month ago. While you have it in the shop get a second remote added for you will need one sooner or later. Remember an LP tractor is a Gas rig with just a different fuel and delivery system. nothing to be scared of. Hope this helps. Later, John A.
