My son just bought a 71 Lincoln MKIII.has a 460ci that he wants to restore(please dont ask me why.LOL.)He asked if he needed to run leaded gas I told him ya cant get it,but ya can get lead additive.Told him to try unleaded and see if it pings. Now my question is,should he run hi-octane or start with a small amount of low octane and see how it runs, also where does the octane rating come in whether he uses an lead additive or not? Thanks Stan
