We had a Dexta when I was younger, but sold it many years ago. They were a great little tractor for their size, and a good deal more refined than the American built Ford's of that vintage. Ours was a '64, gas, 6 speed, live PTO, Live hyd. Although ours did not have aux. hydraulics, it did have an aux services control valve under the seat. This was a valve with a black knob, that was pulled out, and could divert oil to a remote valve, if one was fitted. Simply had to remove a plug on the ASC valve body to get flow, install a valve, and then divert the return to the sump. We just never had a need.
From what I remember of the tractor, it did steer heavy, and would run hot because the rad would jam up with dirt easily. It was quite easy on gas compared to our 860, had vastly better hydraulics, had better gearing (actually had a road gear), and had better balance. It was physically larger than the 860, weighed more, and had more ability to carry a load on the 3-point without upending.
Sadly, it was lack of parts availability that did the old girl in. Couldn't get ignition parts locally. We sold it to a friend, and he ended up sourcing parts from a friend in Scotland. So, I think they are great little tractors, but be vary careful of the parts situation. You could easily end up with something that you can't fix, or will be waiting endlessly for parts to arrive.
