Thanks guys for all the responce! I have had this car since 95, it was a florida car, has a 200 6 cyl in it. Its a very solid car body wise, yeah, the suspension needs to be redone, the front is pretty bad, but all bolt on parts, Im looking into swapping the drum brakes out, and using a disk set up. I like the look of the Maverick, if I look at it at the right angle, it looks like a miniature mach 1,, thought about making a custom rear spoiler, and side scoops, make it look more like a Mustang. Its not gonna be a everyday driver, just for a cruiser, and the occasional drag race. My cousin has a 66 Dodge Coronet 500 with a 440, the last mustang I had, walked all over that dodge, and since I had sold the mustang, That dodge kinda sits still these days. He said that he needs to have someone to race again. Inspiration for him to git that Dodge back out on the road and drive around the block,,, I was going to hop up my 88 T-bird,, but that is too new for me, I ve always had older faster cars. Besides, the T-bird wouldnt hold up VS a 440 Dodge,,, already tried,, Lol. I still have alot of parts left over from when I built the mustang, and I am thinking I can modify them enough to fit the Maverick. Is a AOD tranny mount differently than a C4, as far as mount spacing? Ill probably end up making a heavier mount, but Im looking ahead just a tad,,, Hope to have it done by fall, atleast the engine in, running, and can be moved around under its own power. Chad
