Most all those numbers (especially those with M inclusions) are casting or part numbers. Unless they were only used for a few years they don't help identify the age. The Serial number tag is on the bottom of the dash, below the steering column about knee high. And there should be an engine tag with serial number because MF bought the engines from Continental or Perkins. If its gas and Perkins, its middle aged, they started using Perkins gas in '69 for a couple or three years, Continental Z-145 (or 134 on the Special) before and after that period. Diesels were Perkins all years. You need serial numbers to buy parts for some portions of the tractor. One wonders if a tractor with no SN tag has left a previous owner without the new owner paying.
