Tonight I'm going to look at an older Kubota - guy say its a 1979 or 1980. He has no idea what model number it is. 2 cylinder diesel engine, 3 speed high/low tranmission with a 5(?) speed PTO. No front wheel assist and a catadory 1(?) three point. This unit sound familiar to anyone? He claims it sat for 17 years when its previous owner lost his health. He bought it and has used it a year and now his health is in decline (sounds like a pattern). He also says the glow plug were disconnected for some reason and he gets it to start with a "sniff" of either, when warm it fires right up. Do these little diesels handle either shots?
