I have a IH 826 with an M&W turbo kit. It looks like somone removed the pyrometer guage. They screwed a 3/8 pipe plug into the manifold where the sender would go. I was looking at a JD 8650 today that had a pyro added. It looks like it is nothing more than a sending unit screwed into the manifold with two wires running up to the guage. Is there anything more to that to installing them? Does anyone know where I could buy such a pyro? No need to give me any websites selling them, want to see it in person before I buy.
