what's a good tractor?

what would be a good tractor for us..was looking at a mf65..what we are looking to do with it is..brush hog ,little garden plowing, small manure spreader and moving round bails out to a few beefers, we have $2500-3000 but prefer 2500 so we have 500 if it needs anything minor done to it..but really want something that can go right to work..we are located in new york and it seems tractors are high in this area..thanks for any help...Keith
