I try not to do corn after corn. I do put down a insecticide to control root worm and grubs. I use the box dropping behind the press wheels. But as Indy says not many of those left, seems the new stuff is all liquid and seed treatment is coming into play now. Going away from dry formulation reduces the labor and therefore the cost. I just happen to be of the opinion that the dry ganules work longer. Seed treatment or genitics(sp) would be the only thing better and more costly.
