Hi John, we call it a V-digger. When I was in LA I worked with my uncle on his sugar cane farm for many years. He had one hat I used to use. They work great, we made our cross ditches about 3' deep and around 5' wide. If needed, we could still cross these ditches with the tractors, most are Hi crops so there was plenty of clearance. They can not be pulled fast since you are straddling the ditch. But with the front wheel assist tractors I found it a lot easier to operate. I wish I was still down there, the gulf is just about ready for specs and reds, and I miss my fishing...
