I have a 1965 Ford F350, flat bed with dump. The is a 240 cubic inch inline 6 with a 1 barrell carb. The air cleaner currently installed is a mesh type with an oil reservoir. I want to install a paper type filter, but have been unable to determine what type to buy and whether or not the new filter will go into the existing air cleaner pan. Anybody know if a paper type filter can replace a mesh type, and if so, do I need a new air cleaner pan? Thanks in advance for your help.
