Opinions-Avg hours before overhaul?

Just wanted to get some other opinions. What would be a ballpark average number of hours that one could could expect to get out of a diesel tractor engine before needing an overhaul? Assuming average maintenance. I know I have heard of tractors with over 10,000 hours on the original sleeves and pistons and still going strong, but this is not average. All opinions appreciated.
