I think that would be a nice gift, and here's something else that could be kicked around. Dillon is 8 years old, and is going to be fixing stuff before too long. Wouldn't it be nice if his "YT Friends" could chip in and put together a little starter tool box with a few good quality basic tools that he could use and keep for a long time? I know I still cherish a little box that a great Uncle made for me 50 years ago, while he worked at Boeing. That little box was a Christmas gift, filled with hand-me-down tools, most of which I still have. Think it over guys.
