It's unfortunate. I haven't bothered to post on this Tractor forum in a month or so - I thought one of them offered me a deal that he would keep his junk in this forum, he would leave me alone, I would leave him alone. Then they got bored with themselves & tried to spread out to other forums on this site. Not suprisingly, he broke his word. Just the type of person he is.

www.farms.com used to be a Canadian version of this type of web site. The folks there were more small homestead types, and had a thriving set of forums about machinery, goat raising, taking care of hay ground. A very well kept & large database of messages. Back 5 years ago it was perhaps more popular than this site.

They changed software, and decided to let 'anything go' - any and all messages. Self-policing.

Go there. Check out their forums. Must be a Canadian thing, they call them 'Chat areas' but it is not live chat, just forums like this. Bottom of the home page.

For anyone that cares about other's opinions, go there. Look at the type of messages they get, and how old they are.

That is what this place will turn into.

My opinion.

I agree with you totally Indy, you said that very well.

When trolls take over, that's all that is left on a site in short order. It's sad to see what Kim built being torn down so rapidly.

Well, at least I now have fond memories of realron - he was gruff & out there, but once in a while he brought something to the table.
