thanks for the response but none of the things you mentioned would have the same symptions of after allowed to cool down it works fine until it runs enough that it heats up and again it goes slow in foward and reverse. I have more info on this that I will share with you. I called hydro-gear and talked to a tech. He said there is no rebuild kit but he went through what I should replace. there is a pump block assy that cost $56.00 ( that has the cylinder and pistons together) and a motor block assy for $42.00 then a center section for $92.00 then a seal kit for $22.00 That should just about do it, Thats $212.00 . I could buy a brand new hydro rear for $328.00 with the shipping so I think that is what I will do. It dosen"t make any sense to rebuild the old one. you can look up your hydro transaxle, just search the net for "outdoordistributors" Good luck
