use a plastic pop bottle, put in tuna fish or hamburger and about a cup of water. Cut 3 or 4 holes about 3 inches from the top, the holes have to be at least 1/2 in diameter. the poke a small hole in the lid for a string. Tie any thing on the end of string to keep it from pulling up through the cap,screw the lid on the bottle. Then hang it outside by the string . Flies will go in the holes and cannot get back out, end up drowning in the water. I use this all the time in mountains here in Oregon when either the flies are bad or yellow jackets, you will have lots of fresh meat shortly.
