That's up to you. At a minimum, the head comes off, gets resurfaced at a machine shop, you reassemble with a new gasket and set of head bolts. The crankcase must also be checked for water/coolant. If present, the bearings are damaged and need to be replaced. The crank/rod journals may be scuffed. Wosrt case, the head or block is cracked, and are a total loss. You really won't know what you are dealing with until you tear it apart and inspect it. If you have someone else do the teardown, even that might get expensive. You may have the option of selling it "as is".
