I really only 'know' the 100 series Fords very well. If you can crop your pictures to a certain size, you can post them over to the left there is a 'help identify' section here on this site. "8N' is a Ford model slightly older than 1954, but you mentioned it twice. '700' is a model made in 1954, it would be a row crop version of an 8N, it would be a bit taller, the rear axles would have a drop-down gearing between the axles coming out of the rear end & the axle on the wheel.

Sounds like it's not a very important tractor to you, just a lump of iron, so sounds fine, sell it & be done. :) If you don't know how many speeds the tranny has, you also won't be able to judge the condition of the machine. And on any of these models, they all range from $400 for a trashed tractor to $5000 for one in showcase condition, so hard to say really what it's worth exactly.
