Kirk: I suspect your 504 came from the factory with either or on Cat I or II. I briefly had a 504 that came with a farm. It had Cat II ends on the hitch. I suspect it was ordered that way as the buyer of it new bought a 504 and 656 in same deal. 656 was standard Cat II. I doubt if it would be very hard to find a set of Cat II ends today. Some tractors you can just turn the ball crossways and it will pop right out and you put the others in.
