If it's a diesel you might try this, I used to do it all the time to my 4010 but I'm sure it will drive some people up the wall. At every regular oil change drain the oil as normal. Then fill it back to the normal fill line with diesel fuel. Start it up at an idle and let it run 5 minutes. Do not run faster than a few hundred rpm's above idle and Do not put it under any kind of load. Drain the oil(diesel fuel) change the filter and refill with oil as normal. The biggest problem with this is the extra 5 gallon or so of oil to dispose of. There are some good shop furnaces that would thrive on this for fuel.
