I am currently selling alfalfa/orchard grass (or timothy) and straight timothy for $3.00 per small square. Round bales 4'x5' $15 for outside stored, and $25 for inside stored. Not much hay moving here. Normally I have sold 5-6000 sqaures and 1000 rolls by this time of year. Sold under 1000 squares and just over 300 rolls (and all but 200 of the squares went to Virginia. This year we have a huge surplus of poor quality spring and summer hay and a good crop of fall hay. Good hay will be scarce though. Nobody much buying and not seeing a lot of hay advertised. Hope some of you folks where hay is short start calling soon :-).
