Hi Freddy, the gasket is plastic. I don't know about dfferent thickness gaskets, parts catalog only lists one part number V20403. I believe it is still available from Case but may have to be cross-ref to newer nr to locate. Overhaul manual states that you should coat the pump body with light oil: "this prevents folds or creases in the gasket when the cover is installed". Manual does not show any check or spec for runout so I would just make sure it turns freely and not binding before installing on engine. If your local Case dealer can not help you click on link below: Click on "not a dealer". enter v20403 in "Look for Part #" & click "search" on hand 5.
