Just Remembering

Back in the days when you went to the fair to see what was new in farm equipment, I remember the introduction of the number series of John Deere tractors. It was at the NY State Fair at Syracuse. They had a 60 with power steering set up with a sheet metal disc printed to look like a telephone dial on the steering wheel. It had a ball bearing in it that you could insert your finger and "dial" the steering wheel around. The rolo~matic front wheels were set on a steel plate so the constant turning wouldn't dig a big hole.Them was the good old daze. Ed
