Hi, I recently had trouble getting my JD to go into gear. After checking the fluid levels I found the hydraulic oil had run dry or alomost dry and I suspect this was the problem. I filled the reservoir with hydraulic oil and still cannot get the tractor to go into gear. Did this low fluid level cause permanent damage or do I need to bleed the line somewhere? I could find nothing in the manual referring spicifically to this problem thus I have to turn to you. Thanks in advance for any information you may have to offer. cvr
