Larry, I agree with you 100%. I own a 1953 John Deere 50-W, one of 133 built. This fact is confirmed by the JD Archives. I have had it advertised for sale since last September at a price I feel is commensurate with the fact that very few "true" 50-W's were built. I have had several 'self-proclaimed 50-W experts' tell me that I have been misleading prospective buyers with misinformation. I have referenced issues of a respected publication where they could check the information for themselves, but they choose to ignore factual information. Even my price has been attacked (no one is being forced to make a purchase at a price they do not agree to). One individual has gone so far as to put buyer beware posts on the YT bulletin board and others. This same person even used my name in one of his posts proclaiming how I am misleading the tractor-buying public. These are people I do not know, they have never met me, they know nothing about me. I have stopped advertising the tractor on YT. Life is too short to put up with such abuse. Dennis
