Well, Larry, here is a prime example of what you and I are talking about. Notice the person writing the post does not identify himself/herself, nor give any documentation of what they are saying. Sure sounds like they are angry doesn't it? As I have probably explained to this particular person already (and they just plain don't want to hear it), Deere built 50-W's in 1953 and 1953 only. They built tractors configured like the 50-W in subsequent years (but not very many by all indications), but they are not referred to by Deere as 50-W's. Ask the folks at the John Deere Archives how many 50-W's were built and they will tell you 133. I get the feeling that the unidentified person making this post holds some sort of grudge against a particular person associated with a particular publication and makes a point of discrediting that publication whenever possible.
