Paul 5-18 is a lot of plow. I use a 3-16 rollover. I think the rotiller has its place and is a great tool but once you cross a dozen acres or so the plow and disc will out perform the rotavator. In my backyard garden it's probably the best thing since sliced bread but in the open field it's going to be slow. I also thing it will have plugging issues when the cover crop approached the 1 foot mark or with straw ground. I can see myself under the machine as much as in the seat pulling out all the trash wraped aroung the drive shafts for the tiller blades. If you subsoil annually I don't see any compaction issues even with the 10,000 # + tractor you'll need to pull it 5-18. The ground will come out nice and fuffy
