Let me just clarify something, as far as the tractor thing goes, I recommended a 65 horse tractor thinking you had the intention of one day farming it. If you decide to rent it out, and just need a tractor for general chores and property upkeep, you can get buy with a smaller, even older tractor that won't cost much. The reason I reccommended those tractors was that they have been good solid series of tractors, and would make a nice tractor to start out. I really do reccommend leasing it out, and then you will have time to look at what kind of money the people are making off the farm, and it will allow you to sit down and do the math. I wouldn't rush into anything. The only way to ensure you have that farm for years to come is if you make the right decisions now, even though they may not be what you want to do. Good luck!
