Start at the begining of the problem and get the truck on a frame lift or 4 ggod jack stands and put it in 4x4 and see if the front shaft is turning. If it is then check each axle shaft just inside the knuckle. You can also do the check with the truck shut off, jack up the front end and lock each hub and see if the axles turn, with three wheels on the ground and both hubs locked in, turning the one wheel better turn the driveshaft. If not then the problem is between the outboard axles. The right spline like someone suggested, maybe side gears in the diff. You'll have to put resistance on the shafts cause the gear oil may make a bad connection move. If the front end is in the air and the trucks locked in 4x4 the front driveshaft shouldn't move except the gear lash.
