I had mine out in 2 appts (1 for upper, 1 for lower) about 15 years ago. By far, the most God-Awful, painful, scary, terrifying part was listening to folks tell me how bad it was gonna be - BOTH TIMES! The bottom ones came out in pieces, and I had 4 stitches on both sides. I went back to work both times after my appt, and aside from a little swelling, I never hurt a bit. I heard the noise of them being pulled, but felt nothing! - Sure "sounded" like it "ought" to hurt. Thank goodness for Novocaine! Tommy D.
