When it comes to gas engines if you buy top tier gas you won't need Injector/Carb cleaner. Not all gasoline is top tier. Top tier gas has more cleaners than the minimum required.
I replace the gas annually in my 2 generators which don't see a lot of use. This year the gas smelled rotten. I'm not a fan of snake oils, I replace the old gas. Burn the old gas in my lawn mowers.
