I enjoyed looking at the repair projects Hobo describes. Not something I would even consider doing myself, too complicated. Then today I decided to get my 48 Cj2A out of storage and of course no start. No gas getting thru the carb. The Carter WO isn't complicated; just take it apart, give it a good cleaning, put back together and it was running. But it occurred to me that in 1948 a lot of farmers had started out looking at the rump of a horse, taking a carb apart must have looked just as complicated as today's complex engines look to me. Though I doubt many 2022 models will be tinkered with in 2097.
