Quoting Removed, click Modern View to see
I just revisited my initial post. Sorry if it confused anyone "quoting", I said "less the swept back axle, 1000 RPM PTO and power steering." Mine does not have these items on the tractor.
Hope that clears that up. I would like to ask.
In regards to a tractor fitted with a float ride seat. I see in the owners manual that the hydraulic plugs bracket P/N AA 3754 R is attached to the rear frame of the cushioned adjustable seat (standard equipment seat) in two pictures, page 29, (publication # OM-T78-359)
I have the optional float ride seat and see nowhere of any mounting holes for this bracket. I have looked this tractor over high and low and cannot find any possible place where this bracket is to be mounted. I did state I do not know if the tractor came with the wide fenders and that I installed butterfly fenders after purchasing. Does anybody know where this bracket was mounted when a float ride seat was optioned??
Perhaps it was drilled into the fenders after it moved down the assembly process and my dealer purchased fenders did not have these holes. There are holes in the fenders but nothing lines up for that bracket. I look at every image I can find on a 435D with the float ride seat, I have never seen the bracket and the plug caps in any pictures. For that matter, there is not anything attached to the float ride seat that is shown in the operators manual either, page 10 (publication # OM-T78-359) Any thoughts, Thanks to the forum and all. Jess

Today's Featured Article - The Rescue of a Fordson F - by Anthony West. Introduction I live in the UK and have for many years restored Fordson tractors (in the main model N's). I have also restored and shown model F's, E 27N's, Field Marshall Series 2, David Brown Cropmasters and the old rey Fergeson T 20. At one time I had seven restored examples which were shown and used in ploughing matches. As most restorers, I have a number of war stories I can relate on a range of topics that may help other like minded and interested people. Perhaps my first p
