Many years ago I saw one on the Okla. side of Lake Texoma but there wasn't anything odd about it other than something like 14.9x 28 tires....appeared to be relatively fat for the size of the tractor....30-40 hp I'd guess. Don't remember the tread type. Soil up there is sandy loam to clay and the boat wasn't over 20' for a number with no cabin....isn't like the soft sand you get on coastal beaches here..once you get up and away from where its wet and packed. You looking for something to pull a larger boat? What's your soil type?
Thinking more about it they had rails up to their lake house and may have had a gondola rolling on the rails that submerged, floating the boat on top and pulling it out. I was busy fishing and didn't pay that much attention to details other than notice the uniqueness of it and the length....something like 150' give or take.
FIL. lived next door to a guy (ex-farmer that sold out and bought a lake house and all the trimmings...always bragged that he made his in real estate) that had a similar launch/retrieving setup. Steeper and only about 50' overall with a boathouse/workshop combo. and an N Ford (left over from his farming days) on Lake Livingston. Doors opened on both ends and he just used a regular boat trailer with the tires off, wheels intact for the rails, and the N pulled and pushed the trailer (with a ball on the drawbar) with the boat winched onto it in, and out. He would back down to the water to launching depth and shut off the N, get in the boat and go fishing, come back, drive the boat back on the trailer, start up the N and drive it into the boathouse.....pretty handy...course he thought he was pretty handy...and being a retired farmer, he was. Grin
