Nancy. Sunday the truck had to be towed home. It was rainy, warm and humid. I thought distributor shorted out. While getting ready to replace distributor I noticed coil was bad. So I bought a new coil. Decided not to change cap,. Coated cap with WD40. I definitely needed a coil. Not sure if my 2 year old distributor cab was bad. Not sure if
WD40 took care of problem.
It did survive the car wash. Going to see how long distributor will last. George
